Shay boasts a diverse skill set that encompasses financial analysis, adept reporting, budget management, online data security, process automation, team development, and effective training strategies.

 

Committed to revitalizing the Office of Tax Assessor-Collector, Shay is on a mission to infuse fresh vigor and innovative ideas. Shay proudly holds the title of a Texas A&M University alumnus and remains actively engaged with The Association of Former Students. He’s a fervent advocate for higher education and takes pleasure in supporting his alma mater. You’ll often find him at football games in College Station.

 

In the spirit of servant leadership and guided by a deep faith in God, Shay extends his personal commitment to his family, church, and the local community. Beyond his professional responsibilities, he finds solace in hunting and outdoor pursuits, often accompanied by his wife, Laura Golden-Luedeke, and their two exceptional children.
