As I embark on my re-election campaign for the position of Bell County Tax Assessor-Collector, I am reaching out to you today with a humble request for your support.

Since taking office in 2017, I have been dedicated to enhancing the services provided by the Tax Assessor-Collector’s office and ensuring that our community receives the efficient and responsive assistance it deserves. Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of implementing numerous improvements, and I am committed to continuing this work.

Here are some of the key achievements during my tenure:

  • NemoQ Electronic Queue Management and Appointment System: We introduced the NemoQ electronic queue management and appointment system, significantly reducing wait times and making it more convenient for our citizens to access our services.
  • Motor Vehicle Network (MVN) Monitors: We enhanced the lobby experience by adding the Motor Vehicle Network on the monitors, providing real-time motor vehicle information to our visitors.
  • Enhanced Signage: To improve transparency and ease of service, we installed informative signage in our lobbies, helping our citizens find answers to common transaction questions.
  • Credit Card Vendor Change: We made the decision to change our credit card vendor, not only lowering convenience fees but also enhancing security through chip readers, safeguarding our citizens’ financial information.
  • Digital Outreach: Recognizing the importance of modern communication, we established a presence on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. These platforms have become valuable tools for disseminating crucial Tax Office information and engaging with our community.
  • Auto Dealer Integration: Our commitment to efficiency includes expanding the participation of auto dealers in the state’s electronic title transaction portal. Our goal is to have 100% of auto dealers on the system by July 1, 2025, simplifying transactions for our Bell County residents.

In addition to my work at the local level, I have dedicated myself to service at the state level:

  • I served as a Director on the Board of Directors of the Tax Assessor-Collector Association of Texas for four years and am set to become the Association’s President in June 2024.
  • I served three legislative sessions as Vice Chair of the Legislative Committee for our Association, directly influencing motor vehicle registration policies across Texas.
  • I dedicated six years to the Technology Committee, currently serving as Chair.
  • I was appointed to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicle’s Vehicle Titles and Registration Advisory Committee (VTRAC) and am honored to serve as 1st Vice Chair.

My mission has always been to leverage my background in technology to make our office more efficient, responsive, and accountable to the needs of our community. However, running a campaign requires resources, and that’s where I humbly ask for your support.

Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact on our campaign’s success. Your generosity will help us reach out to more citizens, share our vision, and continue the vital work of improving the services we offer to Bell County.
